This is a limited edition 50th anniversary reissue Hagstrom Retroscape H-III produced in 2015. The H-III was most notably used by Joe Satiriani’s and Aaron North of Nine Inch Nails.

Hagstrom has taken great care in recreating the original pickups, and the new “Retro-S” pickups do an excellent job of matching the originals’ sonic glory. Gain-shaping functionality is enhanced by incorporating Hagstrom’s new RC-Circuit into the volume control, which allows for volume reduction without the loss of that high frequency “shimmer.”

Fully setup.  Truss rod functions properly and turns smoothly.  Neck is straight with slight relief.  Frets are full of life.   Action is textbook low.   Electronics work perfectly.
