2002 Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster — Gray — MIM — Complete with Paperwork & Gig Bag
Description
Selling a 2002 Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster in Gray. This is Fender's acoustic-electric hybrid — a Strat-shaped hollowed body with a surface-mount acoustic-style bridge, sound hole, and onboard three-channel preamp. It's a unique guitar that doesn't play or sound like anything else in the Fender lineup.
For a guitar that's over 20 years old, this one is in very good shape. There's no visible fret wear (photos included), and it plays great with a fresh set of strings. There is one noticeable ding on the boot of the lower bout (pictured), plus light swirl marks and minor imperfections consistent with a played but cared-for instrument of this age.
The previous owner added two extra strap button holes (with screws installed) — this was something he did to all of his guitars. These are visible in the photos.
I cleaned this up, restrung it, and plugged it in — everything works as it should.
