For sale is a rare object, a genuine piece of unobtanium…an Epiphone branded “chainsaw case” fitting the Epiphone Spirit II (please note the Spirit II is a flat top double cutaway—contoured top guitars will not fit). This case is no joke. Housing high end axes built in Kalamazoo, it is likely to survive nuclear war.
The price shows a premium based on the rarity that it is indeed marked Epiphone. There are a fair bit of the Gibson labeled models out there, and some for higher cost that this. In no hurry to sell so not entertaining offers but you can email with any thoughts on a deal potentially including trade. My highest hope is someone who has a primo Spirit may be in the market for one.
In terms of shape, no major scratches or other damage. I’ve read it’s rare for the butt end latch nearest the bridge to be working / functional but it is here (Could perhaps use a little grease or the like). Internally there are a couple fur backing spots pulling up but trust me it’s minor and this will nicely protect any appropriate guitar. It has also been given a good once over with amp / case cleaner to bring the relative shine back.
$450 plus $50 shipping and to the continental only. Local pickup always an option. Thanks for looking!
