Up for sale, a 2025 Fender Traditional II 60s Jazzmaster FSR model, like-new and complete with hangtags. This FSR (Factory Special Run) Jazzmaster has one of the more unique and elevated feature sets from Fender Japan, produced in extremely small quantities for a single dealer, Kurosawa Music.
In addition to the Olympic White gloss finish with matching headstock, tortoise pickguard and gold hardware throughout, this Jazzmaster boasts Fender USA Pure Vintage ‘65 pickups, an alder body, vintage-spec 7 ¼” fretboard radius and Narrow/Tall fretwire, and locking tuning machines for increased stability with heavy vibrato use.
The Pure Vintage ‘65 pickups are USA-made Fender single coils wound to vintage spec with all the hallmarks of golden age Fender production including gray fiber bobbins, flush-mount alnico magnets and cloth-covered leads. Enamel-coated magnet wire is utilized to create warm, harmonically-rich tone, and these pickups are wax potted to reduce unwanted microphonics. Each pickup position yields a lively, vital sound, with more upper midrange bite and sparkle in the bridge position, and fuller, bell-like sounds at the neck.
