Dean VX! I did a top mount Floyd Rose conversion, and skinned with this custom made Dime Primal Concrete Sledge Skin. I striped this guitar down to the bare bones. I started by routing it for the Floyd Rose Top mount conversion. This is exactly how Dime's DFH and FBD were done. The top mount I personally like even better than the recessed Floyd. The neck angle is a few degrees different and the setup is fantastic with the top mount. I painted the full guitar Avalanche Gray. I then had this custom Primal Concrete Sledge 3 piece guitar skin made. These are not cheap, but are excellent quality. Installed the skin and the sprayed it with 3 coats of high quality clear coat to protect the skin, and give it a great shine. Assembled it back together with licensed Floyd Rose off a Korean Dime ML guitar I've had for a while. I like these bridges much better than an FR special. Changed out the hardware in the bridge to new stainless hardware. Swapped guitar to all black hardware. It currently has invader style pickups, but I can upgrade them to a Bill Lawrence or Dimebucker and 59 if buyer wants to pay for it. I also have a few other pickup options. The skin looks great, guitar plays and sounds great, and is really cool. It's not one of a kind as this is the 2nd one I've done in a V shape. But it's 1 of only 2 and very cool, especially with the top mount. I have a lot of time and money in this guitar. Man hours, materials, paint and full paint job. It's a used guitar and not perfect as it's been played, but it's a total rebuild from ground up. Best of all, not something you can go grab off the shelf. I absolutely love it. Guitar has fresh setup and new Slinky 10s. It will ship well packaged UPS and Insured as all my guitars do.
