The M-Audio MobilePre USB is a compact 2x2 audio interface that plugs straight into your laptop via USB for bus-powered operationGÇöno external power needed. It has two combo XLR/1/4 in inputs with mic preamps, +48V phantom power, and high-impedance instrument handling for guitars or bass. Gain knobs per channel with clip and signal LEDs help dial in levels, and zero-latency direct monitoring lets you hear inputs without computer delay via the software mixer.
Stereo 1/4 in unbalanced outputs connect to powered speakers, plus 1/8 in stereo line and headphone outs with dedicated volume control. The control panel handles USB record levels, direct monitor mix, and master output. Supports up to 48kHz/16-bit for straightforward recording of vocals, guitars, or keyboards on older Windows XP or Mac OS X systems.
