Vintage Martin Style 1 Soprano Ukulele
I am selling my vintage Martin Style 1 soprano ukulele. This solid mahogany Martin is in good condition but does have three stable hairline cracks on the back that I have tried to photograph. They are minor and hard to see. The ukulele has the expected trivial dings and scuffs and crazing one would expect to find on such a vintage instrument.
This beautiful Martin Style 1 has no major issues and plays just fine. According to the Martin catalog, the Martin Style 1 soprano ukulele was last produced in 1965, making this one a minimum of 60 years old. Since there is no “Made in USA” stamped in the sound hole, it is more likely a minimum of 65 years old.
