Fender 1979 Stratocaster with Maple Fretboard - Refinished Tiger

Far out! Big headstock 79 strat with wild tiger stripe refin. Looks cool! Plays decently with medium action and fresh set up on thin maple neck. The original low flat frets are in good shape with only a little fretwear. The pickups have been swapped to older (80s?) Dimarzio SDS1 set and they rip! Hi output and loud with midrange punch. The guitar is in okay shape for its age. There is a large ding on the bottom bout that is pretty gnarly and some more dings and scratches throughout the body. The bridge and trem have been replaced with a Japanese STC P11 and the low E saddle has a stripped screw. One of the neck bolts was replaced with an oversized bolt and the pickguard and all electronics replaced. Original tuners! Overall cool player with big 80s vibe, great tone, and unique look.
Comes with an aftermarket fender hard shell case. The outer side latches removed.
