The Orcas Island cedar top is nothing short of remarkable. Sourced from the Skagit Valley in Washington, this tight-grained, old-growth cedar is visually stunning and tonally captivating, offering a quick, sensitive response with warmth and clarity in equal measure. Cedar’s natural sweetness and openness lend themselves beautifully to fingerstyle and dynamic playing, producing a rich overtone bloom while retaining focus and articulation across the register.

Paired with waterfall bubinga back and sides, the voice gains depth and authority. Waterfall bubinga—named for its dramatic, cascading figure—adds density, headroom, and a piano-like low end, along with shimmering highs and a strong, defined midrange.
