The Bottle is a modular large-diaphragm valve microphone. The body contains the tube electronics and power supply. The capsule determines most of the tonal personality.
The B6 is Blue’s take on a vintage K47-style capsule. That means the design philosophy is closer to:
- Neumann U47
- Neumann M49 (early versions)
- The sound of the B6 (in real-world language)1. Big low end and low mids
This is where the magic is. The B6 has that chest resonance. It makes voices feel larger than life.

It can sound cinematic and authoritative.
If someone has a thin voice, this capsule can make them sound expensive.
Forward presence, but not hyped
The midrange pushes forward in a musical way. Not sharp. Not modern bright.
