For your consideration is this 1982 Fender Precision Bass Special, a fantastic example of one of Fender’s early active bass designs.
Overall, this bass is in very good condition. It shows only a few minor dings from normal use, but remains clean and well-kept with a great overall appearance. A very nice vintage piece that has clearly been cared for. The active circuit works exactly as it should, delivering the punchy, versatile tones these basses are known for. From tight, articulate lows to aggressive midrange growl, this bass covers a wide range of musical styles with ease.
Playability is excellent with low, comfortable action and no fret wear. It feels great in hand and is ready for stage or studio use.
A classic early-‘80s Fender with great tone, great feel, and great looks.
Comes with the original case (handle replaced) as shown. (328)

Condition, Shipping, & Setup Details:
I specialize in selling pre-owned guitars, which typically show signs of regular use. My commitment to quality is unwavering, and I ensure that any guitar I offer for sale is free from problems, unless explicitly mentioned. With a history of selling guitars dating back to the 1980s, I pride myself on selecting only the finest instruments.
It's important to understand that our shipping fees encompass more than just the cost of the box. I guarantee professional packaging using UPS-approved materials to safeguard your purchase. This typically includes new, heavy-duty boxes rated at 275lbs, 3-inch wide brown fiberglass reinforced tape, ensuring the guitar is well-protected. Additionally, every guitar shipped is fully insured for its sale price.
The guitars are set up according to my personal preferences (Medium Height), and I strictly avoid guitars with neck issues. However, guitar setup is highly subjective, and it is advisable to have it adjusted by a trusted local technician who understands your specific playstyle and preferences.
