"Limited to 165 pieces, the Distortion Filter D312A combines classic hard-clipping distortion with a powerful band-pass filter.

Part of the Obsolete Devices series, the Distortion Filter is built around a trio of Soviet-era germanium pulse diodes, part number D312A. Set up for asymmetrical clipping, these unusual NOS diodes provide complex and dynamic break-up with a uniquely expressive, almost vocal quality to the mid-range.

To enhance this even further, we added an analogue band-pass filter. With controls for not just Frequency but also Depth, you can add subtle tone-shaping emphasis or pulverise a specific frequency into submission."
