DAKO X Matsumoku (?) SG Aluminum Neck Project Guitar SG 1970s / 2022 - Natural / Poly (?)

Awesome project. Moving soon and don't know when I'll get to it so it has to go.

Duncan P Rails should be good to go. Needs frets, bridge/ tailpiece and a nut. Neck is built to fit a tele pocket.

Roughly 25" scale which seems to jive with the bridge location, but I can't guarantee some finagling might not be necessary.

There's some epoxy residue on the back of the neck which usually chips right off with no problems. You'd need to level the board and install frets. The headstock is designed for Grovers but you'll need to drill and tap(or install inserts) for the holes for standard Grovers (not minis). I usually use 4-40s and I usually have to chase the mount holes on the tuners as well by ~.025" for the 4-40s to fit through.

The cavity cover is there, as well as the pickup wiring diagram. This ought to be a pretty slick guitar once it's all wrapped up. I have found the SG / Aluminum neck to be an awesome combo. I finished up another one of these that is actually a lifer. I'll never sell that one. I dunno if its the mahogany - aluminum combo or what, but they just feel awesome and typically sound even better.

Pretty sure new Grovers will fit but you might need to chase the holes incase they're too snug.

My necks are cast aluminum. Possibly the only cast neck on the market. I started making them because, in my opinion, they ring a little better than machined necks. The pattern uses a soft V design and have a sort of sand blasted feel to them which could obviously be sanded to the preference of the player.

Comes with a decent case.
