RARE COLLECTIBLE Alvarez Sobon / OG Artist Series / late-90s to early 00's

This exceedingly RARE Sobon (not many of these around!) GORGEOUS vintage Alvarez Regent-era dreadnought cutaway represents a period when Alvarez was building expressive, character-rich instruments that are becoming harder to find in clean condition. With its distinctive ornamental fretboard inlays and classic natural finish, this guitar stands apart from modern mass-produced acoustics. These late 90s–early 00s Alvarez models have quietly gained appreciation among players who know how good this era was. It’s a piece of understated vintage craftsmanship with real personality.

There are a few barely noticable very very small scuffs, and one ding. Otherwise, gorgeous shape! Presently setup with low action for easy playing and picking, but can be raised up/ shimmed for more aggressive players by us for a small fee, or by your trusted local guitar store!

COOL HISTORY: (rumoured this was made for a singer of a popular 2000's band who was using it) [inquire within]) and was used on a 2003-2004 tour... but the band but sold the day they played "Nicks Fat City" on tour. Owned by a Pittsburgh musician thereafter.
