For sale is a good/very good condition, rare Ibanez SF470 in a killer blue burst finish (made in Japan). Comes with a Gator soft case in excellent condition. The guitar is stock except for the Schaller strap locks. The guitar plays and sounds amazing. Light weight and professionally set up with Ernie Ball .009 strings. There are some dings and dents around the bottom edges that have been touched up and a few nicks on the top by the horn and on the surface (please see pics for condition). The top strap lock horn has a chip (please see pic) but has been touched up and is strong with no movement of the lock. I'll also include the other half of the Schaller's, so that you can use it with your strap. These 90's made in Japan guitars are made of the highest quality for sound and performance. Features of the SF470 include a mahogany body with a 24¾" scale Viper neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups flanking a single-coil and the Gibraltar II bridge with Quik Change II tailpiece.

In 1992 the SF470 for the European and Japan markets had V1/S2/V2 pickups which US versions had V7/S2/V8 pickups. The V1/V2 humbuckers were used worldwide after 1992.

The SF470 was discontinued after 1994. In 1997 a new series of hard-tail S models was introduced as the S Classic series.
