Carvin C22 Humbucker Set- Zebra

Up for sale is a matched set of genuine Carvin C22 humbuckers (C22N neck and C22T bridge) in zebra bobbin configuration (black and cream coils), complete with cream mounting rings.  These classic PAF-style pickups feature Alnico V magnets for enhanced power and sustain.   Their unique 22-pole piece setup (11 adjustable screws and 11 fixed slugs per pickup) provides exceptional string balance and even output, especially during bends. They deliver a full-bodied, throaty tone with medium-high output, warm mids, and good clarity – ideal for rock, blues, or classic tones in Les Paul-style guitars. This set is a great upgrade for anyone seeking vintage-inspired humbuckers with modern balance and reliability.

These were pulled from a lawsuit era Kimaxe Les Paul copy. This particular set was likely installed as an aftermarket upgrade, given that stock Kimaxe pickups were generic, and these humbuckers didn’t come around till the 90s.
