The Rivera Sedona is an all-tube guitar amplifier designed in collaboration with Nashville fingerpicking legend Doyle Dykes, making it one of the few dedicated all-tube amps for acoustic guitar.
It features two independent channels: Channel 1 is tailored for electric guitar tones, ranging from blues to high-gain shred, while Channel 2 is optimized for clean electric or warm, rich acoustic tones.
The Sedona includes a special high-power dome tweeter that can be switched on or off to enhance the high-end harmonics of acoustic instruments, particularly nylon or gut strings, and is automatically disengaged when Channel 1 is selected.
It also features an anti-feedback equalizer, a long-pan 6-spring Accutronics reverb, a built-in tube direct box output with XLR balanced output and ground lift, and an active effects loop for outboard signal processors.
The combo models come with a 3-function footswitch for channel switching, gain boost, and ninja boost, and include a rear-panel tube direct box output with a Cinemag transformer for balanced XLR output.
The Sedona is known for its robust construction, using American maple solid core plywood cabinets, heavy-duty metal components, and a regulated DC filament power supply for hum-free operation.
It has received critical acclaim, including being named "Amp of the Year" by Musician Magazine and praised as "the best acoustic/electric amp ever made" by Guitar Shop Magazine.
