Offered for your consideration is this 2007 Gibson Custom Shop VOS ’61 Reissue Les Paul SG Standard. Finished in Gibson’s Vintage Original Spec (VOS) treatment, this instrument captures the look, feel, and vibe of an early ’60s SG while offering Custom Shop build quality.
Overall, the guitar is in very good condition, showing only light to moderate play wear consistent with careful use. There is a small chip on the top edge of one horn (please refer to photos for details), which is purely cosmetic and does not affect playability or performance.
Tonally, this SG delivers exactly what you’d hope for. The factory-installed ’57 Classic pickups provide a rich, articulate voice with plenty of warmth, clarity, and bite. From smooth vintage cleans to aggressive overdriven tones, this guitar has the power and presence to handle virtually any style — truly a monster of an SG.
Playability is excellent, with a comfortable neck profile, low action, and frets that show no noticeable wear. It plays effortlessly up and down the neck and feels every bit like a Custom Shop instrument should.
A fantastic example of a sought-after reissue model that combines vintage aesthetics, inspiring tone, and outstanding feel.
Comes with the original hard case, trem arm, and COA. (58)

Condition, Shipping, & Setup Details:
I specialize in selling pre-owned guitars, which typically show signs of regular use. My commitment to quality is unwavering, and I ensure that any guitar I offer for sale is free from problems, unless explicitly mentioned. With a history of selling guitars dating back to the 1980s, I pride myself on selecting only the finest instruments.
It's important to understand that our shipping fees encompass more than just the cost of the box. I guarantee professional packaging using UPS-approved materials to safeguard your purchase. This typically includes new, heavy-duty boxes rated at 275lbs, 3-inch wide brown fiberglass reinforced tape, ensuring the guitar is well-protected. Additionally, every guitar shipped is fully insured for its sale price.
The guitars are set up according to my personal preferences (Medium Height), and I strictly avoid guitars with neck issues. However, guitar setup is highly subjective, and it is advisable to have it adjusted by a trusted local technician who understands your specific playstyle and preferences.
