The Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer delivers that classic overdrive with a midrange boost that cuts through a mix. It uses an op-amp clipping circuit for smooth, compressed drive that responds to your picking and guitar volume. Works great standalone for blues and rock or as a clean boost into an already driven amp.
Controls are straightforward: Drive for gain amount, Tone for brightness, Level for output. Buffered bypass keeps your signal intact in a chain. Runs on 9V battery or external supply, center negative.
It's analog through and through, with the signature Tube Screamer hump around 700Hz that tightens low end and adds sustain without getting muddy.
