Cool 2003 Les Paul Custom Shop KOA "run-off" model / dealer exclusive Custom alternation of the 2002 50th anniversary Les Paul. Koa top is fairly uncommon in the Les Paul world and when Gibson does do it... rarely do they finish it in a color. The 3 piece maple/wanut/maple neck is a rare spec on a Les Paul. Generally speaking, Gibson acoustics get that more often. That is the one of the coolest feature on this guitar and what makes it ultra unique. Burstbuckers 2’s pick ups. No COA from Custom Shop. The case has a small puncture on the back side And the guitar has two minor finish issue shown in the provided picture. Plays and sounds fantasic! Added confirmation email from Gibson from the build sheet confirming it has a KOA top!
