This Broadcaster represents a piece of Fender history complete with Daka Ware Tip, Original Broadcaster wiring with weaved wiring loom, Cornell Dublier Capacitor, Milled Jack Cup, slotted truss rod nut, carbon resister, CTS pots, CRL pickup selector switch and Fender Poodle Tweed Case.

position 2) neck pickup alone with natural sound and no tone control.

position 3) both pickups together with the neck pickup 'blended' into the bridge pickup according to the setting of the 'tone' control.

ELECTRONICS: Completely cloth wired, Cornell Dublier .05mfd capacitor, 15k ohm carbon resistor, CTS 250K Audio Pots, Switchcraft jack, weaved wiring loom sleeve for positioning wire.

BRIDGE: Original Vintage Telecaster Bridge with 3 cold rolled steel saddles with setting screws set at an angle to the saddles, as original Broadcasters were made.

HARDWARE: Milled Jack Cup, All Slotted Screws, slotted truss rod, Ashtray Bridge Cover.

PICKGUARD: 1-Ply Black Bakelite Pickguard

This Broadcaster is in near mint excellent condition. There are only a couple of small blemishes on the guitar that are not very noticeable when playing and certainly don’t take away from the beauty of this instrument. The body shines and the chrome hardware sparkles as can be seen in the photos. The body is a made from beautiful select ash. The neck is made from solid Maple and is straight with zero fretwear. This Broadcaster plays fast up and down the neck and has a tone and resonance that is warm and deep. Included with this auction are its original Fender tweed poodle case, and chrome bridge cover.
