These original Rogers Swiv-O-Matic bass drum spurs work perfectly, and the wing nuts spin smoothly and the collette function is tight and perfect in function... I'm amazed at the quality of the build.
Aesthetically the mounts could use some restoration (media blasting and new chrome would make them amazing!). As they are they function perfectly, though there is a good deal of pitting in the chrome... lots of wear over the past 6 decades.
The spurs themselves are just over 14" long. I don't know why they are so long as they came off a Cleveland era 20" bass drum. I'm guessing these aren't the original spurs that came on this drum, but have been replaced at some point... PERFECT for larger diameter drums that need more reach on the spurs!
