As usual, this Strat—built between 2004 and 2005—features the typically flawless Japanese craftsmanship and assembly. The pickups are tastefully Fender made in USA ‘black bottom’ units, with a Seymour Duncan SHR-1B Hot Rails (single-coil-sized humbucker) in the bridge position. The potentiometers have also been upgraded to CTS. A reproduction of the 1962 model, it features a maple neck with a thick slab rosewood fingerboard. The back of the headstock has been signed by Paul Gilbert.
