The QY100 is an astonishing “Band in a Box”. We’ve heard that the Drum & Base artist “Tricky” used to make his whole album with.
My favorite instruments, besides the drum kits, is the ever so funky standup or double base and piano which is one of the best in my opinion It also has great virtual pianos, stand up base drum kits and many more.
To synchronize a Yamaha QY100 with external MIDI gear or a DAW, connect the MIDI OUT of the master device to the MIDI IN of the QY100, set the QY100 to receive external clock, and configure MIDI sync in the utility menu. This allows the QY100 to play in time and start/stop with your DAW or sequencer.
Comes with 128 meg memory card, original box, manuals, hook velcro on bottom for stability on cloth covered surfaces, new internal battery (the old one had lasted at least 9 years) and does not include the CD or 6 AA batteries for portable playing and recording.
