The ES-355 is Gibson’s top-tier semi-hollow model: it features a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, binding, an additional Varitone control… full bling.
Based on this model, Epiphone released a signature guitar for Japanese musician Shinichi Ubukata.
The guitar has a laminated maple body, a maple neck with an ebony (!) fretboard, original Gibson ‘57 Classic pickups, and a Bigsby bridge. It also comes with a hard case.
The guitar is in perfect condition—no scratches or signs of use.
I’m selling it because I have too much gear, and we didn’t quite bond enough for a long-term relationship to make sense. It’ll definitely be more useful to someone else.
