What makes this particular guitar a standout is an extremely rare upgrade in the world of Parker guitars. This guitar comes with Pure Handwound Zhangbucker pickups. They are hand wound by David Plummer, a renowned and sought after pickup winder. They sound incredible. Parker used an unorthodox screw pattern for mounting pickups to the body, so the only way to install an aftermarket pickup is if you get one custom made for the guitar, and that's what this is.

Accompanying the custom pickups is a completely custom, Les Paul style wiring harness. Very high quality pots and switch.

The condition of the guitar is listed as fair because this guitar spent many years on tour and it shows. It's got plenty of dings and finish wear from years of touring. There is a chip in the finish on the bottom edge of the neck, but it does not affect playability whatsoever.

Another standout of this listing is that the instrument comes with multiple trem springs. Parker trem springs are incredibly hard to find. The guitar is equipped with a 9 spring, and I believe I have a few more 9's and a 10 spring I'll throw in with the purchase.
