Here is the Gutter Delay, one of the weirdest and coolest pedals I've ever owned. (the only reason I'm selling it is...) It's handmade by one very creative super genius mad scientist... And you'll be the only one on your block, or any other block, that has one...

Here is his description:

The Gutter Delay is based on the Culture Jam Triton Delay—a PT2399 circuit that has two separate time controls that can be toggled between using a left foot switch. The delay time changes slowly when switching from one time setting to another, similar to manually turning the delay time pot on a standard delay pedal. The delay sounds amazing on its own, but it's the time switch capability feature that adds an altogether unique sound to this pedal.

If you hold a note while tapping the left foot switch, that note will slowly resolve to unison as the pitch shift occurs. The "Slow" knob controls the amount of time allowed for that note to resolve. The "Regen" knob will increase the number of repeats.

One of the two major differences between the Triton and Gutter Delay is delay time—the Gutter Delay has four times the amount of timing and depth than the Triton! I've found that this is just enough to push the PT2399 as far as it can go without oscillating. The second difference is that the Gutter Delay has an expression pedal output (it's on the side of the pedal facing you, shown in the pics), which allows you to bypass the Time foot switch and create a tape warble effect that shifts between whatever values the Time 1 and Time 2 pots are set at.

Aside from that, the circuits are very similar. If you wanted to operate the pedal within the same parameters of the Triton, the time knobs would only need to be adjusted between 7 and 10 (max) to do so; setting those knobs any lower is what pushes the delay time out and gives the Gutter Delay it's standalone delay times.

The Gutter Delay is contained within an aluminum Hammond 1590BB. It requires 9v DC power supply, not included, and it does not house a battery nor include a battery clip. Also, the expression pedal itself is not included. I've found that the Nektar brand expression pedals on Amazon for around $30 work great with it
