Offered for sale is a 2012 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Reissue VOS in Dark Burst with a Dealer Select top. This top was hand-picked. Check out the process in the video. She's is a clean, well-preserved R9 example that presents beautifully and functions exactly as it should. There are no breaks, repairs, or structural issues.
The figured maple top shows strong, well-defined flame with excellent depth and contrast. The Dark Burst finish transitions from a warm amber center to a deep, saturated outer edge that leans richer and darker than a standard cherry burst. The VOS treatment gives the hardware a lightly aged appearance while the gloss top retains clarity and depth.
