Maciej Lacek Cello Nowy Targ, Poland 2014
This was purchased new from the Jay R. Rury Violin Shop in Dallas, TX. It is a one owner instrument played in the Richardson Symphony Orchestra. I took it to Caraway Strings in Richardson, TX and they glued seams and reset the soundpost. Good condition. No open seams. Some small scratches to the varnish, but normal wear for its age. Bridge in good condition.
Cello Label: the cello is labeled "Maciej Lacek, Nowy Targ 2014".
Cello Description: the two-piece spruce top has a straight, medium width grain. The one-piece slab-cut maple back has a narrow curl. The ribs are of a maple with a narrow curl. The scroll is of a maple that has a narrow curl. The varnish is amber-brown shaded over a yellow-brown ground.
