Restored Panasonic RS-805US 8 track player (9)
25 capacitors replaced. 3 motor mounts replaced (originals were badly deteriorated). All switches cleaned and lubricated. Track changing mechanism cleaned and lubricated. Belt replaced.

***Don't forget to check your 8 tracks for worn or deteriorated pressure pads and sensing foils. All 8 track tapes will need these replaced for proper operation. Often without good pressure pads and sensing foils, the tapes can be eaten and sound quality will suffer so take heed*** It is true that it is always a defective tape NOT the player that causes tapes to be "eaten"
