One of the most celebrated and ruggedly built Phaser pedals of all time, the Stage Phaser features three distinct modes and oversized controls designed to be easily adjusted with the foot. The large wheels on either side of the enclosure control the "Balls" and Speed parameters, and the large central knob with a grippy rubberized exterior toggles between two preset modes and a variable setting.

The rotary switch in the middle has three positions: settings 1 and 2 are preset speeds (slow to medium and medium to fast), while the Variable setting controls the rate of the effect via the “Speed” dial. In all three positions, the “Balls” dial governs the depth/mix of the effect. True to its stage-friendly design, the entire pedal functions as the on/off switch. Just stomp, and you can't miss.

The effect is lush and watery, offering a distinctive analog warmth and swirl. Prized for the way it engages and disengages akin to a Leslie, the Stage Phaser mimics a rotary speaker effect by ramping up when you engage the pedal, and ramping down to a stop when disengaged. It's an extremely smooth sound that lets the effect bleed out naturally instead of cutting abruptly.
