Gibson listened to the voice of the people, and decided to offer a budget friendly line of guitars, but still made here in the US of A, thus, the S Series.
The Firebird Zero is effectively a more affordable, lighter non-reverse Firebird, but with humbuckers!
The body is constructed of poplar, allowing this guitar to weigh a measly 6.14lbs, so light you can barely even tell you're holding it! That poplar body is complemented by a maple neck with a thickness of 0.81" at the 1st fret and 0.90" at the 12th. Topping that maple neck is a 12" radius rosewood fretboard with a 1.785" nut width.
Electronically, Gibson decided to forego the traditional Firebird pickups and loaded this bad boy up with a pair of DS-C humbuckers with output ratings of 7.82k in the neck and 7.75k in the bridge.
This Firebird Zero shows some minor signs of playwear, but it is in excellent playing shape! Our expert luthiers have given it a fresh setup to ensure that it plays immaculately! We'll ship it to you packed nice and safe in its included gig bag.
Feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have about it!
