Check these specially tapered pots out. We included two separate reports showing their tapers against the others: A (audio), B (linear); and C (reverse) pots. You’ll notice that these D pots (discontinued by Bourns) trump all others. 

These are known in the modding and audio engineer circles as the crème de la creme of audio tapered pots. These sound better when rolling on and off both volume and tone alike.
