This is an original Gibson SG Junior case, the common chipboard type with red felt interior. A lot of cases from this time frame have the usual Brown felt interior, but this is the real deal. A fairly non-functional interior compartment with lid is still intact, as are all of the latches and the handle. There are a few areas of separation around the edging material on the case lid, as shown in the pictures. However, this is a very functional guitar case and will compliment your vintage instrument well, especially one with a little bit of wear.
The guitar case will be shipped in a sturdy box. Original red felt interior guitar cases are hard to come by. This will also fit a Melody maker, most of the Epiphone solid body models of this size, and a Les Paul Jr. However, it's made for the SG Junior guitar.
