Evans Eliminator 2 Lead humbucker in black color. This is the Classic Lead model of the Evans Eliminator E2 humbucker, which is rarer than the Hot Lead model. This model has slightly less output, still strong, but it is more flexible and has better control, specially at high distortion levels, where its surgical clarity is unsurpassed. Additionally, it splits extremely well matching perfectly with the single coils or humbuckers at other positions.
- Full humbucker output = 26.6K
- Coil tap = 13.3K
- Length of the leads - Red : 32.5 cm, Black: 32.5 cm , Ground 32 cm ( these are minimum )
- Pickup Dimensions = 69mm x 37mm x 20mm ( height)
- Screw spacing = 78mm centre to centre
The pickup was made by the legendary Canadian pickup designer Rod Evans. These pickups split extremely well, they are completely noiseless, super accurate and they sound fantastic.
However Rod does not make them anymore and they are hard to find especially at this condition and color.
Some of the most famous users of Evans pickups are Alex Lifeson, Jason Becker, C.C Deville, Joe Perry and of course Jeff Healey who use them almost exclusively.
