Up for sale is a 1953 Martin 0-18. This has been played and has been well loved! I do a detailed walkthrough of this guitar on Youtube. See other part of listing.

Condition is pretty evident by the pictures but here are a few other details. No top or back cracks. Sides have had a few cracks but are secure.

New tuners (Kluson Oval KP-3V-NMO) and a new saddle and ebony bridge pins, but we have been able to retain all other original items. The original bridge had been shaved at one point, so we were able to salvage the 70 year old piece of Brazilian rosewood but glueing a 1/16th inch piece of rosewood underneath to get the saddle height back up where it needs to be. You can see this piece in the pictures and I think it was pretty well matched.

Original bridge plate intact but it has been serviced with the Stewmac Bridge Saver to help the spots around the string holes that had been chewed up from 70 years of string wear. Comes with a nice hardshell case.

Neck reset done and the string height is .090"/2.25mm at the low E and .070"/1.75mm at the high e.
