Restored/Repaired Guitars

From time to time we getin damaged or defective guitars

-we fix 'em, test 'em and then sell 'em at

deep discount. !

How does this happen ????

The design of the modern 3x3 headstock shape puts stress on the weakest part of the guitar neck.  The string pull, thickness of neck and the hole drilled for the trussrod all contribute to a very weak spot on every single 3x3 guitar ever manufactured …Gibson owners, especially owners of vintage gear are all to familiar with the “typical Gibson broken headstock” –if you drop your guitar-weather it’s a $50 Jay Turser or a $10,000 custom shop Gibson-the odds are they will break at this weak point –no worries, most of the time its a very easy fix- repaired headstocks are not that uncommon-but-even a repaired headstock will break if you drop/knock down one of these guitars-its just how these beasties were designed.

Imports (like Epiphone) tend to break along the manufacturer created glued mid neck scarf joint. Fortunately,  most of these repairs are pretty straight forward and result in a structurally stable playable guitar with a scar-but priced accordingly-a TREMENDOUS opportunity to get one of these instruments for way less than market.  Most import guitars have a scarf joint-either hidden under veneer or dark stain-this scarf joint is basically glued together pieces of wood-just like the repair that we have done-the glue (Tightbond) is stronger than the wood it holds together.

If your a doubter, just look at our continual excellent feedback from our customers and our repeat customers

This guitar were damaged in transit to the retailer and were never sold to the public-rather they were part of a large insurance claim.

This is a tremendous opportunity to get a brand new ,

virtually unplayed Epiphone for a substantial discount

off of street price !!!!

You are bidding on a restored "new" Epiphone electric guitar. When we recieved this instrument it displayed cracks radiating from either side of the nut indicating a "under the fretboard" crack. We pried the crack open and injected Tightbond Adhesive into it and clamped the repair under 6000 ls of pressure for 48 hours. The result repair is way stronger than the origional and is now the strongest part of the neck ! Sure you can see the repair (most times the repair cam be made cosmetically beter-we leave that up to the buyer-we provide a repaired/restored functioning instrument for a discount...

This guitar is one of the new series ("Inspired by Gibson") which feature upgraded feature packages (Gibson pickups and harness)and improvements in design-they really hit the mark on this one-fantastic guitar These guitars are basically Epiphone bodies with Gibson electronics and a real cool retroish finish...Great looking head turner-new Headstock Design- and a fantastic sounding guitar ! Lots of nice luthier work. This is a new guitar, (albiet damaged/repaired)-and we have included all the original case candy as pictured (stickers and stuff). ..... ...

The Gibson SG made its debut in 1961. In an interesting turn of events, this coincided with a hiatus in the production of the Les Paul, which had been a staple of Gibson’s lineup since its introduction nine years earlier.

The new SG design certainly turned heads with its radical body contours and distinctive “devil horns,” but Les didnt like it. This instrument would eventually be re-badged the SG (which stood for “solid guitar”) for the ’64 model year. The SG would go on to rock greatness, with vintage models (particularly the ’61) commanding lofty prices in today’s used market. But you don’t have to spend a fortune to own one of these legendary solidbody electric guitars.

A Very Special (and Affordable) Re-creation of the First SG
