The RGD71ALMS is a seven string multi-scale RGD series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It is produced in Indonesia, initially as part of the metal focused Axion Label line, but starting in 2023 as one of the initial models in the Axe Design Lab series. This is believed to be a 2025 model. The RGD series guitars have a body based on the RG series but with special bevels and deep scoop cuts in the horns. They also have extra long scale necks.
The RGD71ALMS features a fingerboard with 24 Sub Zero treated fanned frets, white step offset dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic active humbucking pickups, a set of Mono-rail fixed bridges, a plastic nut, Gotoh locking tuning machines and Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins. It also has a luminescent Ibanez logo on the headstock.
