Hey there! You are looking at a 1947 Buffet Crampon Modele 13 (Pre-R13) Professional Clarinet w/Case *SERVICED*!
This Clarinet is truly a remarkable and high quality instrument, constructed in France, 1947, by Buffet Crampon. The "Modele 13" (French for Model 13) is the model before the R13, which is highly regarded as a legendary professional-level instrument. This clarinet looks amazing visually for a WWII Era instrument! Minor patina is present throughout the silver hardware. There are no cracks or repairs to the wood, and the keys show very minor playwear. Please see photos for a well-rounded assessment of the item.
The Clarinet has been just been completely overhauled by Bill Bowling, one of New York's top woodwind technicians, and plays beautifully throughout all the registers! This Clarinet produces a rich tone and speaks very clearly. This instrument would be perfect for a serious student or professional looking for a great horn.
Rated a 8 on the condition scale based on exterior condition and functionality.
