Martin / 1995 000-42EC First Year

Introduced in 1995 as Eric Clapton's first signature guitar, this rare first-year guitar is limited to just 461 pieces worldwide.

The gorgeous embellishments incorporating Style-42 are beautiful.

The V-shaped neck is a signature feature of the Clapton model.
It's always featured on his signature models, and is an important element that supports his playing.

The label inside the soundhole features his autograph.

Two cracks above the sound hole have been repaired, and a patch (reinforcement plate) has been applied from the back, so you can play with confidence.

Cracks have been repaired along the abalone trim on both sides of the fingerboard end.
There is some damage to the lacquer paint on top of the abalone, but the area on the back has bracing and a spruce reinforcement plate (common to the 000-42 model), so you can rest assured about its strength.

There are traces of a neck reset on the neck heel.
This is an effective method for repairing areas that are difficult to repair with a truss rod, and can significantly improve playability and tone.

-The body top shows scratches, scuffs, and minor blemishes from playing, but this information is sufficient for performance and is safe to use.
- There is a repaired crack above the sound hole.
- There is a repaired crack along the abalone trim on both sides of the fingerboard end.
- There are signs of a neck reset at the neck heel.
- The nut has been replaced.

[Playing Condition]
- There are no muffled notes or buzzing sounds, and the guitar plays in good condition.
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.2mm on the 4th string, 1.9mm on the 1st string
- Saddle extension: Approximately 1.5mm
