This is a Neuner & Hornsteiner violin
Mittenwald (Baeirn) 1906.
The ebony fretboard has very large grooves from extensive usage and should be replaced. This violin weighs less than one pound = 9.5 oz and with the wood case included the total weight is 2 lb 11.2 oz.
The vintage case is a nice lightweight wood with a thin felt lining. It functions well but needs a couple of repairs.
