These Steinberger Basses were an amazing invention by Ned Steinberger in the mid-80’s. This is an all original & very desirable 1989 XL-2 5-string model in the rarest White finish making it a complete unicorn & 1 of the coolest basses Ned produced. It’s a narrow spaced 5-string that can be converted to a 4-string if ever necessary.  It’s equipped w/a set of EMG pickups & the inside front cover is dated 4/7/89 at completion when new. It’s slightly faded in color yet truly a very special bass indeed. It’s excellent overall & comes complete w/its original square black tolex hard case.
