This Novation Supernova has recently been fully serviced and is mounted in a new flight case. The original owners manual is also included.

The Novation Supernova is a powerhouse 3U rackmount digital synthesizer that utilizes what Novation called their proprietary "Analogue Sound Modeling" technology. And even today, I think you can call it one fantastic sounding instrument. This unit has 16 voices, each with three fully independent oscillators, sync, two ring modulators, a noise generator and special mod effects. It has a multi-mode resonant filter section where you can choose low-pass, band-pass or high-pass filters with 12 db, 18db, and 24 db/ octave roll-off options, plus overdrive. It has ADSR envelopes, and an incredible sounding multi-effects section which lets you use up to seven effects (reverb, distortion, chorus/flanger/phaser, delay, pan/tremolo, EQ, Comb filter) in various combinations. It has a programmable arpeggiator, syncable by MIDI clock or internally in 128 preset and 64 programmable patterns, plus LFO and delay effect rates can be synced to the arpeggiator.

It has 512 Programs (patches) and 256 Performance (Multis) that are 8-part multitimbral. (Up to 8 programs together). Note: The display for a couple of the Performances have developed a few odd artifacts. Even after servicing. (I've included a photo) They don't affect the patches at all audio-wise, and it is just a couple out of the 256.

Each of the 8 parts in Performance mode have the same effects-processing capability that is available to the individual Programs, plus you can even have up to 8 arpeggios running at once!

It is an incredible synth with a unique powerful sound all it's own.
