Super rare limited run snare drum by Nobel and Cooley
20 Production models and 3 "prototypes". This is one of the 3 prototypes
6 ply English Chestnut with one outer ply of Ziricote.
This drum is NOT stained. The Ziricote is sanded and light sealed with a wax. That amazing grain color is the natural wood...the pictures don't do it justice.
This is a thing of beauty and sounds amazing to match.
6.5" x 14" 10 dual post brass tube lugs. Brass strainer and butt. Black Chrome flanged hoops.
I bought this new, factory direct in 2020 and it's barely been played (In the studio only, no gigs).
Signed by all 3 members of the Jones family back when they owned the company.
Somewhere I may have the original box.
