I acquired this guitar from an avid collector and he told me this one was a special piece of his. This guitar was hardly ever played and it was mostly purchased as a collector piece where it stayed in the case mostly. The bag of goodies has never been opened. truly a remarkable time capsule.

With that being said here are the details. 

This guitar is an incredible sounding instrument that was crafted and handmade by one of Fender’s top renown luthier in custom shop history, John Cruz.

The relic job was called the “super duper“ relic at the time.

This guitar was custom ordered to look similar to SRV’s #1 or Rory Gallagher’s Strat. I’d say Cruz knocked this one out of the park making it even more unique. 

Previous John Cruz’s SRV and Rory Gallagher Relic replicas sold for $40k+. This guitar is built with the same quality and attention to detail as those Since it was made in his prime era. 

What makes this guitar even more exquisite is the fact this has a dark Madagascar Rosewood fretboard which was a custom option. 

The pick ups are handwound by Fender’s best, Abigail Ybarra. it’s not every day you find these pick ups in a Masterbuilt. 

This strat really does feel like an old friend. 

Comes with OHSC, all the paperwork, COA , Floor Traveler sheets, bag of case candy and tags (unopened or torn)
