Killer strat! This is an interesting older custom shop build commissioned and obliged by Fender with an Olympic white body and “the strat” tremolo from 1982, that Fender was able to fulfill with new old stock parts they still had at the factory. The body, plastics, and trem made in Fullerton CA in 1982. The neck is a 65’ reissue neck that was scheduled to be relic’d but rerouted to this build and left NOS. Plays nicely with low action and medium/slim 60s C with rounded edges and 7.25 radius. Nice dark rosewood slab with vintage frets with almost zero fretwear. The pickups are hand wound Abigail Ybarra pickups that sound fantastic! Classic vintage strat brightness and articulation with tight snap and good resonance. The guitar is very clean! There are some bruises on the front and back of the body that I’ve photographed but no major cosmetic issues or damage. It seems like the body may have been kicking around at the factory and accumulated a little wear before being put to use but not 100% clear on that. Included is some email correspondence regarding the nature of the build and how they were able to complete. A super cool guitar and a great player with fantastic tone and interesting story.

Comes with the original hard shell case and COA.
