For the Original USA Peavey EVH Wolfgang Special, the Floyd Rose setup is unique because it is designed to be dive-only—meaning the bridge plate should rest flat against the guitar body rather than floating.
Body: It features a solid basswood body with an arched top.
Neck: The neck is made of quartersawn maple, known for stability, and has an oil finish.
Fingerboard: It has a 22-fret maple fingerboard with a compound radius, designed for comfortable playability across the neck.
Pickups: The guitar is equipped with custom-wound EVH humbucker pickups mounted directly to the body for enhanced resonance.
Bridge: It features a Floyd Rose-licensed locking tremolo system with an EVH D-Tuna, allowing for quick drop-D tuning.
Controls: The electronics are simple, with a single master volume control and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
