For sale: Used Gemeinhardt 2SP Flute with Curved Headjoint – Fully Serviced & Ready to Play
This Gemeinhardt 2SP flute with curved headjoint is in excellent playing condition and ideal for a smaller student or beginner. It has been professionally serviced on March 7, 2025, with a complete disassembly, chemical cleaning, and thorough keywork overhaul.
The work included: cleaning and oiling the keys, cleaning and ironing the pads, straightening the end and removing a dent from the headjoint, curved headjoint, and body tube, leveling toneholes, replacing 4 pads, leveling and regulating the keys, and a final playtest and polish. The flute now responds evenly across all registers with smooth, quiet key action and solid pad seals.
You can see and try it in person at Portland Music Company – 2502 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232, or call for an in‑hand description at 503‑228‑8437. A great, fully serviced student flute at a very fair price.
