Vintage 1996 G&L S-500 USA Electric Guitar w/ Fender Gig Bag!

Up for sale is this vintage 1996 G&L S-500 USA electric guitar.

This instrument is all original with the exception of one pot, the switch tip, and the knobs. Cosmetically, the original blueburst finish shows wear which includes scuffs, scratches, and a few larger dings (the worst being around the edges, pictured) but still looks great. The original hardware shows wear and pitting but is original and intact, right down to the tremolo arm. The neck has a few small dings on the back that can be felt while playing, but aren't at all troublesome. The original pickguard has been scuffed up by what looks like steel wool for an unexplained reason (pictured) but functions fine. The original back cavity plate is present, but is cracked near the screw holes.

This one has just been gone over by our tech who wiped it down, sprayed out the electronics, polished the frets, installed a fresh set of strings, and gave it a good set up. It plays nicely all the way up the neck with comfortable, low action. The original frets do show wear and divoting but still retain a good amount of life.

A new Fender gig bag will be included and the instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
