- Complete disassembly of all moving parts (belt, pinch roller, tensioners, etc.).-
- General cleaning, demagnetization of the heads and metal parts in contact with the tape, installation of new felt pads, installation of a new pinch roller, installation of a new belt.
- Realignment of the heads (to achieve maximum volume/frequency range ratio) and securing them in place.
- Mechanical calibration.
- Replacement of variable inductor, capacitors, and trimmers in the Bias and Bias-Trap circuits.
- Replacement of motor speed adjustment trimmer.
- Replacement of tantalum capacitor.
- Calibration of bias voltage and adjustment of all internal trimmers according to the service manual.
